SNAPSHOT DC is a city wide group scavenger hunt held on the final day of orientation. While this event is optional, it is an orientation favorite and gives students a great opportunity to better know one another and DC! Teams of Abroad at AU students will complete the multi-media scavenger hunt with the assistance of an AU student. Students navigate the public transportation system, discover new and unique locations in the city, learn fun facts about DC and US history and helpful tips for students in DC. SNAPSHOT DC takes place during the day and will culminate in a dinner reception and prize ceremony in the evening. Participation in SNAPSHOT DC requires a small fee of $35 to cover materials, transportation costs, and dinner.
