The admissions staff conducts personal interviews on campus at various times throughout the year. The best time to book an interview is during the late spring, summer and fall.
Interviews are offered for your convenience only; they are nonevaluative and informational in scope. An interview provides you with an opportunity to learn more about AU and the application process. Your admission status will not be affected by an interview.
Please note: Only high school seniors and transfer students may request interviews in the fall; only high school juniors and transfers may request interviews in the spring.
Reserve an Interview
You can set up your interview by calling our office at 202-885-6000 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. (Eastern Time).
Please schedule all interviews at least four weeks in advance. There are a limited number of appointments available each day and requests are accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis. Subject to availability, interviews are offered Monday through Friday during the following times: 9:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m and on select Saturdays at 12:30, 12:45 and 1:15 p.m.
