TEMPLATE FOR CLASS PRESENTATION

1.  Focus on the most important points.  Be sure to keep within the assigned time limit.  This will not be easy, since (curiously enough) short presentations are more difficult to organize than long ones.  One of the goals of this exercise is to help you think critically about the structure and significance of your study.  Above all, do not try to tell us everything you know or present your entire work product..

2.  Prepare a brief outline.  Do not come in and talk off the top of your head.

3.  Keep your audience in mind.  Don't assume that they are as familiar with your topic as you are.

4.  Your presentation will be followed by a brief Q & A.
