, Don Myers Technology & Innovation Building, Collaboration Lab 111

Updated 11/21

In October 2017 the Nobel Prize for Physics was awarded to scientists from the LIGO Scientific Collaboration for their gravitational wave observatories and the first ever observation of these waves. This unique way of studying space-time has opened a whole new avenue for astronomy. We are celebrating Professor Gregg Harry and the AU Physics faculty, staff, and students he led in contributing to LIGO collective and their discoveries.
