The Career Center will host U.S. Public Interest Research Group for an information session on Monday, October 14, 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., in MGC 247.
U.S. PIRG, the federation of state Public Interest Research Groups (PIRGs), stands up to powerful special interests on behalf of the American public, working to win concrete results. With a strong network of researchers, advocates, organizers, and students in state capitals across the country, they take on the special interests on issues such as product safety, public health, political corruption, tax and budget reform, and consumer protection, where these interests stand in the way of reform and progress.
A representative will provide an overview of the organization and discuss career opportunities. They are currently seeking students and recent graduates for the U.S. PIRG Fellow position (Job ID# 80194).
Please log into AU CareerWeb or Kogod CareerSource to review position details, eligibility requirements, application instructions, and to RSVP for this information session.
