For students pursuing a career in teaching after graduation, consider attending the Diocese of Arlington Catholic Schools's annual Teacher Job Fair on Saturday, March 9.
Principals from Catholic schools throughout Virginia, including Fairfax, Arlington, and Loudoun, are seeking exceptional teachers who are committed to students and nurturing in them a love of learning and a lifelong faith in God. The schools want to find the best candidates possible for up to 100 openings they expect to have in the 2013-2014 school year. Prospective teachers will have the opportunity to introduce themselves to principals from 45 Catholic schools and to learn about teaching opportunities in preschool, elementary school, middle school and high school.
Fair attendees are encouraged to bring along their resumes and to network during the event, with the possibility of scheduling future interviews. Representatives of the Office of Catholic Schools, assisted by current Catholic school teachers, will be available to answer questions about the benefits of working in Catholic schools.
Admission to the event is free. For more information about the fair and applications for teaching positions, call 703-841-2519 or visit www.arlingtondiocese.org/catholicschools.
