An American-Russian Tribute to Jazz Diplomacy with jazz great Igor Butman at the National Building Museum.
We invite you to a special evening with Igor Butman and the premiere of the US-Russia Rising Stars Jazz Band. This event at the National Building Museum (440 G Street, NW) is open to the public, who must RSVP individually via IRC@american.edu by noon on Tuesday, October 1. Space is limited. If you are a student, please include your school affiliation and graduate or undergraduate status. Attendees must bring their university and government-issued IDs. Business attire is required. Transportation from AU, Georgetown, GW, and UMD (College Park) has been arranged.
Shuttle Times and Locations
Times listed below are departure times. Please be at the pick-up location before the departure time.
American University: 4:45 p.m. at the main Shuttle Stop (behind Letts Hall, the southern edge of campus)
University of Maryland (College Park): 4:30 p.m. behind the Stamp Student Union Building, Visitor Lot
Georgetown University: 4:45 p.m. in Lot 3 by the tennis courts
George Washington University: 5:00 p.m. at 22nd and G Streets, NW
George Mason University: 4:00 p.m. at the Sandy Creek Shuttle Stop
University of Maryland, Baltimore County: 4:10 p.m. at 1000 Hilltop Circle at the Flagpole
Return shuttles: Return shuttles will be available at 10:30 p.m. and will leave the National Building Museum soon thereafter for all universities. Please find your bus at the front of the building at 10:30 p.m.
