Performing Arts | Aria Competition

Annual Concerto and Aria Competition

Each year the AUSO hosts a Concerto & Aria Competition open to all students of American University—undergraduates and graduates, full and part time. The Department of Performing Arts comes together for this annual celebration of the incredible talent of AU's student musicians. Competitions are held in February at the Katzen Arts Center's Abramson Family Recital Hall. Winners then perform in the spring with the AU Symphony Orchestra.
