Overview

In this program, you will learn the philosophies, methods, and theories of women's, gender, and sexuality studies. Through the study of contemporary scholarship and the historic development of theories of women's inequality and strategies for change, you will examine feminist, gender, and sexuality theory. Offered by the Critical Race, Gender, and Culture Studies Collaborative, this 12-credit program encourages and empowers students to confront complex problems and explore interdisciplinary interests. The flexible curriculum teaches students to become critical thinkers, innovative researchers, and skilled communicators. For-credit internship opportunities are available.
