Welcome to Housekeeping at American University! Together, we make up one unit of Facilities Management.

A staff of 105 ARAMARK employees, led by housekeeping director and FM assistant director, Don MacIntire, work in three shifts around the clock to make sure the AU community has a clean and appealing campus to learn and work.

Our Housekeeping effort is int he process of transitioning to Green Cleaning. Our green cleaning program is focused on the implementation of sustainable cleaning practices throughout the University with the ultimate goal of improved and more environmentally sound cleaning practices.
