Information Technology Department

The Kogod School of Business Department of Information Technology teaches management information systems, IT consulting, technology management, management science, statistics, and production and operations management. At the undergraduate level, within the Kogod BSBA program, the department offers a specialization in Information Systems and Technology. For students in the MBA program the department offers a career track in IT Consulting. The department faculty is known for its research into the global dimensions of technology including global teams, global management, and offshoring.

Research Center

The Center for Information Technology in the Global Economy (CITGE) is led by members of the Information Technology Department, and facilitates collaborative research among corporate partners, students, and faculty aimed at advancing IT theory and practice for management in the global economy. Through CITGE, academics and practitioners leverage their different perspectives and competencies to develop new management paradigms to solve complex organizational problems related to IT.
