It is my distinct honor as the Chair of the Veterans Alumni Network to wish a happy spring to all AU Vets and Alumni. Since 2008, more than 1400 student veterans have studied at American University. This is no surprise, particularly given what we know about the national student veteran population from Student Veterans of America's national headquarters, with their recent National Education Success Tracker (NVEST) research. As we look ahead, I encourage all upcoming graduates to connect with the Veterans Alumni Network--many of us are all over DC in a variety of capacities, and very eager to lend a hand however we can.
