The Counseling Centers does not provide counseling through email. In case of emergency, call the Counseling Center at x3500 (business hours only), AU Public Safety at x3636, or your local emergency response services.

Our staff is also comprised of practicum trainees who are first-year and advanced graduate students in the Clinical Psychology PhD Program at American University. All of our staff trainees participate in coursework, individual and group supervision, outreach and consultation activities, and the delivery of psychological services to American University students.
