Transition
During new student orientation, Disability Support Services (DSS) and the Academic Support Center (ASC) present a session entitled "Disability Support and Transition from High School to College." This presentation offers information to both students and parents about what to expect when you enter college, the typical challenges in the transition process, the role the student plays in getting disability accommodations, the role of DSS and ASC, and finally, ways parents can help with the transition process.
