Just admitted? Welcome! See these Services for New Undergraduate Students to help you prepare in the time before coming to campus for Eagle Summit.

Welcome to American University! As an institution committed to high academic achievement and public service, we are eager to open our doors to the Class of 2019. Composed of students from all over the country and from all over the world who bring their unique accomplishments and experiences to the student body, we are certain that the incoming class of first year students will help American University to further its commitment to becoming a more global and sustainable university that strives to turn ideas into action and action into service.

To assist you in preparing for your transition to college, Orientation, Transition & Retention has assembled the 411 on campus life, academics, services and resources, activities and involvement, and Washington, D.C. This new electronic resource replaces paper folders and flyers provided in past years and supports American University's commitment to environmental sustainability.

The following is a select listing of information for new AU community members to orientate you to services and programs on campus and within the local neighborhood: Academics at AU, Life at AU, and Campus Resources.
