Carolyn Susca began working as a nurse in the Student Health Center in January 2017. She grew up in central Connecticut and received her BS in Allied Health Sciences from the University of Connecticut in 2013—go Huskies! After working in Physical Therapy research, focusing on therapies for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, she returned to school. She received her BSN from Thomas Jefferson University in 2015 and went on to work at the VA Medical Center in DC. There she worked as a nurse on various units and completed a research project with nursing colleagues on the benefit of Quiet Hours in a hospital setting. She joined the AU community in January 2017. In her free time, Carolyn enjoys running, hiking and traveling.
