Bio
Since joining the Career Center in 1985, Elaine’s position has evolved and expanded over time. She currently coordinates fall and spring Job and Internship Fairs and position listings in AU CareerWeb. Elaine is particularly passionate about conducting employer outreach to increase the number of paid internships available for AU students.
Elaine is a native Washingtonian debutante and worked on Capitol Hill for Congressman Stratton for two years before coming to American University. She enjoys weekend getaways with family and friends to Middleburg, VA and returns to her childhood vacation spot, Sea Island, GA, each summer. One day, Elaine aspires to be like Rachael Ray in the kitchen and dreams of becoming the next Warren Buffett.
