IT Customer Service
Shawntez has over 10 years of technical and training experience. Employed at AU since 1997, he has been working as an on-site Technical Support Scheduler, Installer, and Lead Technician. As a LAN Analyst, Shawntez has also assisted in the installation and support of EagleNet network electronics upgrades, AU's wireless network, and IT infrastructure in buildings. Shawntez was instrumental in the installation and support of cable modems and Internet access for about 250 student-occupied apartments at Park Bethesda. Since 2001, he has been responsible for coordinating EagleNet installations in the residence halls, leading other technicians and part-time staff in courteous and efficient on-site IT service.
