Sidney Dawson III

Sid Dawson III completed his Bachelor of Arts in Communications at Pennsylvania State University in 2017, where he studied the impact of public relations and social media on popular culture. Sid is a current MFA candidate in the School of Communications at American University. He will be joining CLALS this fall as a graduate assistant, creating web and social media content for the Center. Sid previously worked with Professors Maggie Stogner and Patricia Aufderheide creating infographics and designing presentations. He is currently working to deepen the social media discourse concerning the barriers facing African Americans and other marginalized groups.
