COMM-450 Washington Journalism Semester Seminar I (4)

Course Level: Washington Semester

With COMM-451, this course explores journalism as it exists and is practiced in Washington, DC. The seminar studies the people, institutions, and issues of Washington journalism with weekly guest speakers, field trips, readings, review sessions, and lectures. Usually offered every fall and spring. Prerequisite: admission to Washington Journalism Semester. Corequisite: COMM-451. Note: Not open to American University communication majors.
