Policy Issues in Financial Economics (3) Applications of the tools of finance to examining financial crises, financial regulations involving banks and other institutions, and policies such as housing finance, government loan guarantees, pensions, and consumer finance. Students make oral presentations and hear guest lectures by policymakers dealing with financial economic issues. Usually Offered: spring. Prerequisite: ECON-600 and ECON-633.
