NEUR-330 Neurobiology with Laboratory (4) Course Level: Undergraduate

Neurobiology with Laboratory (4) This course enables students to explore molecular and cellular neuroscience in further depth, including electrophysiology and signaling, genetics, development of the nervous system, hormonal regulation of the nervous system, cellular mechanisms of learning, and pattern generators. The lab covers fundamental research methods in neurobiology, including ethical issues, design of studies, and analysis of data. Methods covered include electrophysiology, microscopy, visualization and identification of genes and proteins, biochemical assays, and cell cultures. Usually Offered: spring. Prerequisite: NEUR-220.
