Introduction to Prezi: Lose the PowerPoint & Separate Yourself from the Crowd (Updated 9/3/14)
1:15 pm – 2:15 pm, Tuesday, September 9 (2014), Hurst CTRL Lab 202
Prezi is a virtual whiteboard that turns your linear PowerPoint presentation into an interactive, collaborative, and multi-linear narrative. In Prezi, you are presented with a 3-dimensional canvas to convey your ideas, with the ability to zoom in for details and pan wider for broader themes. In this introductory session, attendees will set up their Prezi account and will be introduced to the Prezi interface. The session will demonstrate how to create frames, change the order of the presentation, and insert images, videos and even a PowerPoint presentation. It will also present sharing and privacy settings.
You can attend all workshops in person or online.
This series of one-hour hands-on workshops for faculty on the use and pedagogy of new technologies and software in the classroom offers a variety of topics each semester.
