SIS Alumni Activities
Who are SIS alumni?
Spread throughout the world, SIS's nearly 20,000 alumni can be found virtually all careers and lifestyles. Many find their way to government agencies including the State Department, the Department of Defense, and even the EPA. Others decide to work internationally for relief agencies or organizations such as USAID and the World Bank, or start their own non-profit to put the skills learned at SIS to work. Still others have become artists, authors, photographers, playwrights, lawyers, economists, business owners, members of congress, scholars—and that's only a few professions our alumni have chosen! Though SIS alumni can be found in all corners of the earth, many have chosen to remain in Washington, DC, giving the SIS Alumni Chapter the opportunity to thrive. Upon graduation, etc.
What are the benefits of staying involved as an SIS alum?
- You can easily give back to SIS through hosting interns, mentoring current students, recruiting new students, speaking at SIS events, or in many other ways.
- You will meet old and new friends, have the opportunity to network, and interact with current SIS students through our many events held throughout the year.

- You will be associated with a top tier school of international relations and benefit from the life-long learning opportunities available to you as a graduate.
