Other ways which alumni can become involved include:
Coordinating special events (i.e., happy hour, BBQ, etc.)
Talking with a prospective student about attending American University
Assisting in planning or hosting an alumni or student event in your city
Serving as a mentor to current students or other alumni
Participating as a donor to a SPA project or program

How can I stay connected to SPA?
The SPA Office of Development is forever updating and expanding our alumni information to better serve our alumni. One of the ways you can help is to register for the AU On-Line Community – an AU resource that lets alumni reconnect with old friends as well as establishing a permanent free e-mail address, network, and even design your own web site.
