Bio
Dr. Reaud specializes in the role of state and non-state actors in service delivery and what incentivizes parties to act. Her research has focused on revenue generation, government service delivery, and how informal communities have been able to fill in gaps in service provision. Dr. Reaud has conducted field research in Latin America and Sub-Saharan Africa. She has professional experience as a program examiner in the U.S. Office of Management and Budget. As an OMB examiner, she worked on a team responsible for implementing the Administration's budget and management agenda on Medicaid, the largest public health insurer in the United States, which provides insurance to over 40 million people. Prior to working on health care, she was the primary liaison between OMB and domestic economic development and trade agencies at the Department of Commerce. In this capacity. Ms Reaud led budget and legislative reviews, negotiations, and program evaluation on programs totaling over $1 billion. She has also been a National Urban Rural Fellow, a Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute Fellow and an NSEP Boren fellow. She is married and the mother of one son.
