Bio
Matt Mandel currently serves as Vice-President, Government and Public Affairs at the Wireless Infrastructure Association, the principal organization representing the companies that build, design, own, and manage communications facilities in the U.S. and throughout the world. In this position, Matt oversees the government affairs and communications departments for the organization. He develops and implements the federal and state legislative and regulatory agendas for WIA and its members. Prior, Matt was a Vice-President, Government Relations at the Glover Park Group, an independent, strategic communications and government affairs consulting firm. Matt previously spent ten years working on Capitol Hill, most recently as Legislative Director for former Rep. Cliff Stearns(FL-06). In that position, he was the Congressman’s chief legislative adviser with a focus on the Congressman’s work on the House Energy and Commerce Committee. In addition, Matt worked in legislative affairs for a non-profit interest group and as a Legislative Assistant for two other Members of the House, including former House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (VA-07).
