An Adult Career Coaching advisor talking to a student

One-on-One Guidance

The Adult Career Coaching Center (ACCC) at American University is a resource available to current and potential graduate students in the School of Professional & Extended Studies. The ACCC provides support separate from and in addition to the University Career Center at Butler Pavilion and is specifically targeted at an adult learner audience. The ACCC can provide guidance to those who are considering returning to the workforce, making a career change, advancing in their current role, or building on previous degrees or existing expertise.

Maximize Your Educational Journey

ACCC staff understand the limitations associated with full-time work and/or family obligations and are here to help part-time students and mid-career professionals make the most of their educational journey by integrating current and previous professional experiences.
