February/March Mid-year PMP discussions will include a one-time only discussion of the new competencies in which the manager and staff person will discuss strengths as well as areas for learning (if a new competency not previously used in the job) or improvement. Because one's manager can't always be aware of everything their direct report does day-to-day, the responsibility lies with the staff member to provide supportive data. This lunch and learn will provide you with a tool to capture the highlights of your daily performance in a way that will help not only in the PMP process, but in career progression as well.
