Favorite thing about community service:The ability to put a smile on someone else’s face just by being loving and kind. I enjoy making a positive impact in other people’s life and giving back to the community in some shape.
Favorite volunteer experience:Serving as a Big Sister in the BigSister BigBrother program. I remember my first year as a mentor, after the first week my mentee started calling me her big sister. I was so happy and excited. It really made me realize how much of an impact we can have on people in such a short timeframe.
