Located in SIS 250, SIS Graduate Academic Advising is here to help you make the most of your SIS experience by providing information, answering questions, and making referrals to School and University partners dedicated to your academic and professional success.
Students are assigned to advisors by academic program as outlined below. Students can meet with their advisors in two different ways – during Express Advising or via Appointment.
Express Advising meetings are 15 minutes in length so that advisors are able to meet with as many students as possible during the busy registration period. Express Advising meetings should be limited to immediate questions related to spring registration.
Appointments are 30 minutes in length to allow for in-depth advising conversations, including new student meetings and long-term course/degree planning. Appointments can take place in-person or via phone or Skype.
Please note: many programs were assigned new graduate advisors as of the fall 2016 semester. Please confirm the current advisor for your program below.
