Walking U.S. Talk on Japan

The SIS Office of International Programs is happy to announce an upcoming event “Walk in U.S., Talk on Japan,” which is sponsored by the Prime Minister’s Office of Japan.  Join us for a panel presentation on the U.S.-Japan relationship from the perspective of diplomatic relations, security interests, business, and education.  The panel will include Ambassador Ken Shimanouchi, who has served in Washington, D.C., Miami, Spain, and Brazil over the course of his diplomatic career; Dr. Fumio Ota, Vice Admiral (ret.) of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force; Ms. Megumi Inoue, who has worked in international business development in multiple countries; and Ms. Yui Ozaki a current undergraduate student from Tokyo.  The panel will be followed by a Q&A session, iai demonstration, and a reception.
