Bio: Chemi Montes’s (he/him) professional experience includes designing for print, motion graphics, and the web. Prior to and outside academic life, a combination of agency and freelance practice allowed Chemi to work with a diversity of clients ranging from small businesses and non-profits to Fortune 500 companies. He is the recipient of a Graphis Platinum award, in addition to earning top awards in numerous international juried competitions. His worked has been published in many design books and periodicals, including Communication Arts, Graphis Poster Annual, Graphis Design Annual, Graphis Typography Annual, Applied Arts, GD USA, The American Graphic Design Awards, Creativity International Awards, and numerous other publications.
