Bio
For over 18 years, Kim has successfully placed CEOs and executive teams, and built boards for companies ranging from new ventures to Fortune 500 firms. She is frequently engaged to handle challenging founder succession assignments, including highly sensitive CEO and board searches.

Before founding Centerstone in 1998, Kim served as a Managing Partner in a boutique executive search firm acquired by Korn/Ferry International. Prior to joining the search industry, Kim was an officer of a $1 billion multi-unit retail company, where she was responsible for organizational development and succession planning.

Kim holds a doctorate in Human and Organizational Learning at The George Washington University and a Master's degree in Management from the University of Redlands. Her areas of emphasis are board and executive leadership, CEO succession and organization development. Kim is also an Adjunct at American University, and a Guest Lecturer at The George Washington University teaching contemporary leadership styles, team performance and organization diagnostics. She has been published by the Wall Street Journal, Entrepreneur, the National Retail Federation and Discount Store News, among others.
