Get to know your on-campus resources and opportunities during Thanksgiving Break.
Residence halls remain open during Thanksgiving Break, so you do not have to return home or find alternate housing. Your residence hall front desk, however, may not be operational.
Starting at 5 p.m. on November 21 until 9 a.m. on November 27, only Anderson, Federal, McDowell, and Nebraska front desks will be open for needs that you would go to your front desk for. If you live in a building other than the buildings listed, you will need to go to one of the listed buildings.
Mail and Packages
Mail Services will not be accepting or delivering packages during the break and package rooms will not be open. Make sure that you do not have any packages scheduled to arrive during the break, and pick up the ones you need before 5 p.m. on November 21.
Office Hours and Campus Services
University offices are closed Thursday and Friday. Because individual offices may have different contact methods, you should check the website of the office you would like to get in touch with.
In the case of an ongoing on-campus emergency, call AU Public Safety at (202) 885-3636.
Various campus services may have limited operations or reduced hours of operation.
