Bio
Carol Whitney is Co-Program Director of the Campaign Management Institute. She is a well-known political consultant whose firm, Whitney and Associates, Inc., specializes in strategic planning and training in politics, government, and the private sector. She serves on the board of the Campaign Management Institute, the Advisory Board of the Sorensen Institute Project on Campaign Conduct, and the Board of Advisors of the Patterson School at the University of Kentucky.

Whitney is nationally recognized as a political strategist whose expertise in message development and delivery has been the key to victory for many Republican candidates over the past twenty years. She was strategist for the 1986 winning campaign of Kay Orr, the first Republican woman governor in this country's history, and for numerous others at the federal, state, and local levels.

Whitney has written articles and manuals on politics and political advocacy, and is the author of the ethics curriculum and materials developed at CCPS in conjunction with the Pew Foundation in 1998. She is also a published author of fiction.
