From 2010-2014 Denise Fantone served as an adjunct professorial lecturer in the Key Executive Leadership Program. Sadly, Denise passed away this last January following complications due to ampullary cancer. Before her passing she was engaged in the preparation of the book, The Global Financial Crisis and its Budget Impacts in OECD Nations: Fiscal Responses and Future Challenges. Her chapter with co-author George Mason University professor Paul L. Posner, "The United States' response to the global financial crisis: from robust stimulus to fiscal gridlock," outlines the nuances of government budgeting and the far-reaching impact it can have on future challenges. Denise was a long-time member of the Key family, and we celebrate this posthumous publication of her fine work as a testament to her lifelong commitment to public service.
