GPS Summer Program

Washington Monument from the Lincoln Memorial

The Graduate Professional Studies Summer Program offers seminars to help you take your career to the next level. If you will be in DC during the summer for an internship or are you already located in the District, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your professional network and further develop your understanding of either Political Communication or Sports Management & Media.

The Graduate Professional Studies Summer Program includes a 3-credit seminar in Applied Political Communication or Sports Management & Media and professional development activities. Both seminars are open to rising senior undergraduate and post-baccalaureate students and are offered once a week, with supplemental online components in order to accommodate working professionals and students with internships in DC.

Dates for the summer 2017 session will be announced soon.

Graduate Professional Studies classes are designed to transfer into degree seeking graduate programs whether at American University or other institutions.
