To meet the burgeoning demand for specialized Pega professionals, American University in partnership with Pegasystems, is offering a 5-week training certification program. Upon completion, participants will be fully prepared for certification in Pega 7.
During this 5-week course, you will learn through online class sessions, and meet with your cohort for two weekends in person. Complementing your Pega training, you will connect with potential employers and learn how your technical expertise can meet the needs of today’s marketplace.

Requirements for Admission
This course is designed for technology professionals or recent graduates with a computer science background. Applicants should have a technology career path, experience with coding (Java, C++, UI, OO) and strong analytical, collaboration, and communication skills.
Seats are limited! Registration will be accepted on a rolling basis or until seats are full. Interested students should register no later than September 14.
To register, complete the online application and upload a copy of your current resume. Please note: if you are a current student or recent graduate and do not yet have professional IT experience or have limited experience, the admissions office may ask for a copy of your transcripts (undergraduate or graduate if applicable) to determine your IT and computer science proficiency.
Students are responsible for providing their own laptop to use during in person class sessions and are responsible for access to a computer for all online sessions.
Policies on Tuition, Withdrawals and Refunds
Tuition Policy: Tuition for the 5-week course is $3,500. The course must be paid in full prior to the first day of class on September 28.
Alternatively, you are welcome to sign up for the American Payment Plan which breaks your total tuition into monthly payments across the semester. The deadline to sign up for the 3-month payment plan deadline is September 15.
Refund Policy: WWe recognize that conflicts may arise that may affect your participating in the course. If you wish to receive a refund, a written request for cancellation must be received by September 14. Refunds will not be provided if written cancellation is received after September 14.
If you request a refund, a $60 processing fee will be deducted. Payments will be refunded to the person/company that issued the original payment. Timing of processing of refunds to debit or credit cards will vary based on your financial institution.
