Bio
Bill Beaman is an adjunct professor in the School of Communication. Founding Partner of JephsonBeaman LLC (www.jephsonbeaman.com), he has worked with clients at the highest level—from CEOs to government officials to Supreme Court plaintiffs—to assist them with critical communications. He has specialized in strategic messaging, brand awareness and re-positioning, presentation coaching and media training. Bill has particular experience in assisting women in business—especially those in leadership positions—both within the US and internationally. He has provided messaging and coaching assistance for such organizations as the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, PBS (the Public Broadcasting System), the International Association of Women Judges, and the NFL Players Association.

Previously, he spent three decades as a journalist in leadership positions within prominent media organizations—including National Geographic, Reader’s Digest and Voice of America. His postings included Bureau Chief positions in both Washington, D.C. and Hong Kong. He has been a guest analyst on major American networks including CNN and MSNBC. Bill earned a master’s degree from Harvard University in International Security and an undergraduate degree from Duke University.
