Faculty in SPA’s Department of Public Administration and Policy are leading scholars in the fields of public administration and policy, public finance, policy implementation, organization development, taxation, non-profit management, and other areas.
SPA’s Department of Public Administration and Policy offers courses of study at the doctoral and master’s levels including the top-ranked MPA and MPP degrees. Additionally, the Department offers executive-level degrees—the Key Executive Leadership MPA and the AU/NTL MS in Organization Development—as well as undergraduate courses in the field of public administration.
Through SPA’s research institutes—the Center for Public Finance Research and the Institute for the Study of Public Policy Implementation—faculty scholarship is shared with the AU and Washington communities, and across the nation.
