Tiruwork Tibebu is a Postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Environmental Science, working on a multiscale sustainable food systems project focusing on modeling components of regional food systems and their interactions. Her research includes analysis and projections of the impact of food waste and the response to policy interventions and integration of sustainability, resilience, and equity metrics in wasted food models. She earned her Ph.D. in Sustainability from Rochester Institute of Technology. Her research interests include sustainable systems modeling and quantitative analysis, techno-economic analysis, and clean energy technology policy design.
