Writing and Rhetoric Minor
Why a Writing and Rhetoric Minor?
Writing and rhetoric are all around us, in our majors, in our classes, in popular culture and politics, on social media—everywhere!
Our minor is designed to:

- WRT 220: Introduction to Rhetoric
- WRT 310: Researching Writing
- WRT 320: Teaching and Learning Writing
- WRT 350: Topics in Contemporary Rhetorical Theory
- WRT 355: Topics in Public and Civic Rhetoric
Minor Requirements
- 18 credit hours, a minimum of 9 credit hours at or above 300-level, and at least 12 credit hours unique to the minor

- WRT 220 Introduction to Rhetoric (3 credits) (new course)

- WRT 310 Researching Writing (3 credits) (new course)
- WRT 350 Topics in Contemporary Rhetorical Theory (3 credits) (new course) (may be repeated with a different topic)
