Bio
Samantha is a doctoral student in the Department of Public Administration and Policy with a concentration in public policy. Her research interests include gender equity, health policy, and the use of social determinants of health in policy evaluation and development. Prior to joining AU, she co-founded the Lane 9 Project, a non-profit that provided education and community for active girls and women in eating disorder recovery. She also managed clinical operations for a women's health-focused medical device start-up and provided strategic communications counsel to Georgetown University's Kennedy Institute of Ethics.
