Our philanthropy event for this year is to raise money for the Charity Calvary Women's Services. This will be done through a flag football event. It consists of teams of seven playing flag football, each of which pays $10 per person to participate. These games will be non-contact and officiated/supervised by our organization. During the event, we will have a representative from Calvary to speak about the cause. All proceeds and money raised will go to Calvary Women's Services after the games are held. The AU community is invited to participate in or spectate this event. Informational tabling is being conducted this week to further raise awareness and spread methods to sign-up for the event.
