AU's Zero Waste Office conducts monthly physical waste audits to analyze campus waste streams, reduce bin contamination, and advance circular economy goals. The campus waste diversion rate is 41%, up from 30% in 2023. Help keep the momentum going and join us for a waste audit! Volunteers will hand-sort and measure 24 hours of accumulated trash, recycling, and compost from the Hall of Science. PPE will be provided.
