Sue Marcum was an extraordinary individual who transformed the lives of those she met. Thousands of students at American University's Kogod School of Business discovered their love for the field of Accounting through her dynamic teaching and personal commitment to their individual success. Colleagues and friends found joy in the hours spent together over shared interests and collaborations. We will long for her smile and laughter in the days ahead. Memorial Service

American University's Kogod School of Business held a memorial service to celebrate the life of our beloved professor, colleague, and friend.

Sue Marcum Scholarship Fund

Professor Sue Marcum personally established this scholarship in 2006. This annual award supports an alumnus of American University who chooses to pursue a Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) degree at the Kogod School of Business. Her family has asked that all donations in Professor Marcum's honor be directed towards the scholarship fund.
