On Thursday, Feb. 1, an anonymous antisemitic social media post targeted a Jewish member of our community. We condemn this hateful and hurtful act. Hateful acts against any members of our community are wrong, against university principles, and will not be tolerated. We want to make it clear that this act, reflecting antisemitism, is a violation of our commitment to protect our community. Conduct of this nature against any member of our community is deplorable, unacceptable, and has no place at AU. To that end, we are taking immediate actions to implement the steps we announced on January 25 with respect to this post.
