The student health center will be closing at 12:30 on Wednesday, November 27th.

The Student Health Center will be closed on Thursday, November 28th and Friday, November 29th and will reopen on Monday, December 2nd at 8am.

Students need a note because you were sick and missed class?   You can download a letter here and fill in your name to share with your professors.

Nurse Advice Line - Students can receive medical advice anytime by calling
1-800-347-8020.  

Immunization requirements - The deadline for incoming students to submit required immunizations was July 15th. Please submit your documentation as soon as possible on the Student Health Portal.

Get Your Flu Vaccination!

Free Flu Shots are available at the SHC for students. Schedule an appointment on the student health portal!

Psychiatric appointments are available in-person and by telehealth.

Please note that telepsychiatry is only available for students who are physically in Washington, DC, as our psychiatrist and psychiatric nurse practitioner are not licensed to offer telepsychiatry to students outside of DC. (Maryland and Virginia residents can be seen in-person, but not via telepsychiatry.) When scheduling your appointment, please let the Patient Service Representative know where you are currently located.

If you are out of state and have questions for your provider, please send a secure message to your psychiatric provider through the Student Health Portal. 

For psychiatry appointments, please call: 202-885-3380. (Please provide your First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth, and AUID Number). Before your scheduled appointment, you will be sent a secure message through the student health portal with instructions on how to connect for your telepsychiatry appointment. You can use any device to connect as long as it has audio and video capabilities.
