Learn more about Student Media at AU! Student Media

Student Media Board

American University student media organizations are completely student-run and open to all students at AU, regardless of school, class or major. Whether you're into print or broadcast journalism, creative writing or photography, DJing or directing, you're likely to find an outlet that's right for you!

All groups are editorially independent of the university but rely on student activity funds. The student-led Media Board consists of a representative from each Student Media organization and three chairs who oversee the operation. This collaborative effort encourages an inclusive and engaging educational experience for everyone involved. To learn more or contact the Student Media Board, visit their Engage page or email studentmedia@american.edu.
